As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. -- Isaiah 55:10-11

Being Relevant

Dear God,

What do you look like in a hurting world?

You aren't a religious fanatic, but you aren't compliant or complacent aftraid to upset someone's comfort zone.

You love wrecklessly, forgive exuberantly, bless lavishly...but still have a clear code of right and wrong...and grace for when I choose the wrong one.

How do you want to live in me
so people see all those things in you?

Tracy, I keep pondering and asking:

What do You look like in a hurting world, in my hurting neighborhood, in my hurting family? How do You want to look in me so others really see You?

The last year has made me question a lot about Christianity and what people see in Jesus' people or if they see Him at all. They are good questions, and I trust Him to give me good answers. :-)

Hope you are having a glorious week, too!

Blessings to you, dear one!
